The perfect 10k for all and great training for the spring classics

The Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k distance is a fast and flat run with spectacular views. Just one month before the spring classics, the Sydney Harbour 10k provides the perfect opportunity to check your preparation for a half marathon or marathon, or to go for a PB.

Starting at the historic Sydney Rocks area, the 10k course is a one lap loop which hugs the harbour foreshore to ensure spectacular views throughout. The course travels along Hickson Rd, through Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, through stunning Barangaroo parklands and back into The Rocks to the finish line near the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay.

Event Seeding Ranges

For slower runners, joggers or walkers it is important to select the correct wave and appropriate starting group. There are three waves to choose from based on  expected finish time.

Select the start wave that reflects a pace (km/min) most appropriate to you, based on your training and past race experiences. All prams and wheelchairs (except elite racing chairs) must be in the final start group (D Group).

All results will be based on GUN TIME (as per IAAF rules) although participants will be provided with a NET TIME for reference.

Please note: all changes must be made prior to Sunday 11 June 2017 if you have selected to have your Race Kit posted due to packing requirements.
