To make sure you are ready to tackle the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k, elite runner and trainer Ben St Lawrence has put together a FREE training program.

 

Ben has combined his experience as a professional runner and trainer with his knowledge of the 10k course to create these programs designed to help beginners as well as experienced runners. Learn some helpful tips and get the most out of your training

Advanced Program

This 10 week training program is suitable for those who have recently completed a 10k race or longer and can run for 60 minutes non-stop.

Intermediate Program

This 10 week training program is suitable for those who have recently completed a 5k or 10k race and can run for 30 minutes non-stop.

Real Insurance SH10k

Beginners Program

This 10 week training program is suitable for those who have never completed a 10k race before but can currently walk/jog at least 2km. The target finish time for this beginners program is 60+ minutes.

Please note, it was announced on the 8th July 2021 the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k & 5k would be postponed until the 7th November 2021. Update training plans will be provided based on this new date in late August.
